This country (The USA) is no longer a democratic country, separation of powers has already been demolished and the constitution done by great thinkers and distilled from brilliant independent ideas are not valid anymore. Recently, I have listened to the Speaker of the House, openly defending and declaring and advocating that this Great(?!) country was founded as a Christian country!!! And unfortunately all high end snop people - unfortunately they govern the people and the country - thinks like him. So no way out however we have to confront them…

But let’s pay attention to the good, too! Hope and optimism will propel us forward. After all, courts are still ruling against executive overreach, and that fight is very much live, not lost. The Constitution isn't dead letter; it's contested ground, and we have to keep insisting on it rather than declaring it finished.
